The Whales valley – Astronomy Trip

-Start our tour with a pick-up from your hotel, Arrival at Tunis Village for a free tour, visiting pottery and ceramic workshops. Optional activities include a countryside breakfast or horse riding (extra cost).
-Arrival at the nature reserve, followed by a break and participation in setting up the camp.
-Visit the Open Climate Change Museum.
-Hiking and watching the sunset from the top of the mountain.
-Dinner.
-Astronomy observation lecture:

Observing the night sky with the naked eye and telescopes at intervals.

Learning about major star constellations:

The movement of the night sky.

Determining directions and finding the Qibla using stars.

Using star maps and smartphone applications to identify the virtual shapes of constellations, planets, their locations, and names.

Differentiating between stars and planets.

Activities:

Campfire and stargazing gathering, enjoying the serenity of the night.

Overnight stay in tents.
